There are many people out there willing to help you learn code. The best thing to do is to start small, don't set yourself and enormous project with out any real ides of how to achieve it, you will only get frustrated and give up, as I have so many times.
As I have already said there are many languages used to make web sites but only a few are necessary, in my opinion. These are HTML, PHP, JAVASCRIPT and MySQL. However PHP and MySQL especially, are only necessary if you want interactive sites which store data.
I myself and relearning a lot of these languages and as part of my project I am going to post links to the sites I create. Unfortunately my internet connect is not set up yet at my flat and I have to use the library computers to post here so it may be a couple of days!
